6mm Dasher Dies ?

Hi,
I am in the process of building a 6mm Dasher varmint rifle in a no turn neck. Now I am after some information on dies. I was looking at getting a Forster full length sizer and ultra micrometer seating die or getting a Whidden bushing die set . Is there anything else I should consider.

Thanks
Scott

Either one of them should work. I use a Redding full length bushing die. I then got a Wilson stainless micrometer die for 6 BR and ran a reamer in. Matt

If you chose to go the Forster route be aware that unless you go with the neck size / shoulder bump die you will not have the choice of using bushings , you'll be relegated to having them hone out the neck portion of a F/L die in order to avoid over working the necks... I have a set of Forster BB neck dies and albiet they are very nice they are'nt a F/L die.

Talk to the boys at Harrells or as mentioned drop whidden a line they are very nice to deal with.

+1 on the Whiden dies . Nicely made .
I have a Whiden FL bushing die for my Dasher
It's very nice . I still
use a Wilson seater. But would have no problems using John's Dssher seater,
Good to support JW

I use Forster fl and mic seater. I had them hone the neck ($12.00 iirc) and then use a K&m expander mandrell to get .002 tension. I also neck turn to .0115, Lapua cases. Very straight, .001- runout. Now if the weather would cooperate I could go shooting. Barlow
