6mm Creedmoor

Here in NC, a buddy uses 95 gr Vmax's in a 6.5 x47 8 twist. The rifle is amazingly accurate and he has some longer range kills for this area ( 450 plus) . But it is to much gun. There is no degree of dead. My 222, 22-250, 6 PPC , 6 x45 and 6 BRs make them just as dead. He is hooked on absolute carnage, which is fine. I'd rather burn less powder.

Haven't been able to test them yet due to coronavirus related unavailability of the local range. Should be back online soon and if so, I'll report back. I did try hornady lead-free bullets in a 223 and nosler lead-free in a 204 and they weren't as consistent as the berger and sierra match bullets, so I gave up on those two.
Yeah, I bet it drives more people into shooting steel or paper. If and when a bullet company masters a consistent non-lead bullet, I bet it will cost a pretty penny, above what it costs now.
