6MM Creed or 243

Never had a donut in my match rifle's brass. I have reloaded brass over 6 times and no issues. I only have one .243 barrel now and it's not on the rifle so not worried about it but the .243 is a viable option if he wants to stay with it.

I assure you, you have a donut after 6 firings. The brass has to flow somewhere.

You can short size the neck and let the base grow. That is what I did. But standard resizing will have a donut.

I can assure you I do not. Sorry it's not what you have experienced but no issues at all with my brass.

No it doesn't. Ran one for years and still have one in a short action and works fine. Have run 105-115s in it with a short action.
If you running 115's in a short action 243 you reducing your case capacity significantly to cycle through tha magazine, you may as well use the 6MM ARC, plus your using a custom twist. The 115 surely needs a 7.5 or a7 twist to stabilize. You might get away with 100 yards.

No you aren’t. I load in aics mags in a short action and can load them out to 2.870”. No problems and no issues with pushing too far in case. Not every short action is a Rem700 with an internal 5 round mag and limiting to 2.820”. Even the. Notching the feed ramp can be done at home and makes it easy to load longer.
