6mm cals vs 284's

Roger,

Bring Quinn and come down to Alliance next spring. I will let you shoot both my Dasher and one of my .284's. Then you can find out for yourself before you buy. I shoot my Dasher at 600 (if the wind isn't blowing) and my .284 at 1000. If the wind is blowing the Dasher gets pushed around much, much more than the .284. If I could only have one gun for F-Class it would definitely be a .284 caliber of some variety.

Chris,
Thanks for the invite, I can tell you the .284 is already here in parts, (bought the stock from Matt P. down there) just waiting on a reamer from PT&G. This will be the gun I'm going to use, I agree, if I'm only going to shoot one gun it will be a .284! Just trying to build on a budget for now to get us all shootng, Quinn likes the 6.5 I built, so I'll let him keep shooting that. I just traded a guy straight across that Vortex I had on the 6.5 for a Sightron 10x50-60, now Quinn's real happy! The Dasher is a thought for my daughter, if she wants to get into this as well, I thought it would be a nice start for her! Thanks again for the invite, let us know when your spring shoots start!

My son and I shot the last one in Aug., great bunch of guys, that was the first match that we've shot! We plan on shooting all 3 next year.
