6mm Bullet for Deer this fall

Just wondering which 6mm bullet you guys are using this fall for Deer? Over the years, I have used a variety of different bullets in the 6BR, .243 Win, 6X47 Lapua and this year I will probably use a Dasher in a nice little Sporter . Always interested you which bullet works best and which cartridge you are using it in....Thanks....

Berger puts out a 105gr Hollow Point Boat Tail hunting bullet. Bergers aren't known for penetration but for deer they enter the animal and 3-5 inches in they explode and create a massive would channel. They are one of the most accurate bullets I've used in my Ruger 6mm Bld.

I have used Berger 88gr, flat base on whitetall. All never took a step..

Berger 95-105 is a great choice. The 95 grain berger is very good for deer. It will do anything the 105 will do on a deer. The 105s would be a better option for the bigger bodied deer but I've killed deer to close to 200 lbs with no trouble. No exit on most deer but dead within short yards of impact.

85 grain Sierra GameKing, or 95 grain Nosler Partition in both 6BR and 243 Winchester.
THOSE 85GR BTHP ARE THE BEST BULLET I'VE USED HERE IN THE FOOTHILLS NC FOR DEER. BANG TRANSMISSON OUT FLOP DEAD !!!!!:D:D

I used the 105 VLD with great success but I have my 6XC loaded with the new 6mm 103 ELD-X I am going to try them this year.

My youngest son still uses a .243 for Va deer.He grew up with me when we were using damage permits years ago,"trying" to get rid of some pretty big herds of deer on farms.Any of the hunting oriented 95/100 g FB bullets get it done under 200yds.

He is extremely patient though and is meat hunting slot sized does these days. Most are shot around 100-150maybe yds.Same old same old, shot placement is everything.Classic 1/4 away, shoot for the far side shoulder stuff.Beautifully developed or resultant wound channels.

Curious how they'll work out accuracy wise as well as performance on deer. Be sure to post your results and experience.

I just noticed that I still have some 117 DTAC's from years ago (green polymer tip). I may try those as well.
