Be very careful guys. There are two versions of the BRX. Whitley is .100 and the Crone is .127 over a standard BR.

Thank you DJ for the info so Crones is almost a Brbs then instead of a Brx , I mean measurement wise.I just went and confirmed that the Crone is .122 over standard BR.

Thanks for that info!
Gentleman, I checked the drawings on this website and and they show .122 thousand difference. However, I just measured both of my PTG Go Gauges for the Whitley and Crone version and the difference between the two is .027 being the Crone is .027 longer head space.
Sorry for the confusion.

Does anyone have a suggestion on where to pick up a set of 6 brx headspace gauges?
I found one retailer that sold them, they claimed to have a 6-8 week lead time.
Any help is appreciated.
thanks,

Webster, I am with you. I have been thru about 20 BRX barrels. Never had any gauges. All have been done by 1 of 2 machinist who have both been precision machinist and or tool and die makers in industry. All done with the same reamer. Why do you need a head space guage? They FF to your chamber and if you can size them with your dies they are OK. Your chamber does not have to match the numbers on someones blue print. You have made a wild cat a few thou different than the blue print.
