what are your faverate groundhog loads for this round.
how far do you think it will kill hogs at.

The 6br I had a while back loved the 65gr. V-Max and Varget. I shot quite a few groundhogs with that combination it worked really well too. The farthest was 481 yds., and he went down without a twitch. I'm sure it was quite capable of taking groundhogs much farther but in my area it is almost impossible to safely take a shot much further.

My groundhog gun for this year is going to be a 6bra chambered by Alex Wheeler. I've been doing load development for it and so far it really likes the 75gr. V-Max and H322.

I have nine years of reloading data in a spreadsheet. 6BR 14 Twist Krieger barrel. My favorite load with varmint weight bullets was 33.5 gr 8208 and a 58 VMax. Last year I found out the 60 gr Sierra Varminter was extremly accurate. Also 33.5 gr 8208. Many groups close to .200" One group under .200"

I have a Remington 40x chambered in 6br norma. 55gr Nosler with reloader 7, 500yds no problem, I get 3800+ FPS ..

Its been a while since I've played with a 6BR but I had explosive results with 58 gr Vmaxs & 322, also used 335.
