6mm BR Weight

I want to put together a 6mm BR to shoot in local club matches out to 600 yds. I am a little confused about the weight restrictions on the rifles under both rules. Can anyone fill me in on what weight the gun should come in at?
Thanks,
Craig

There are 2 disciplines (at least that I know of) that have weight restrictions. F-Open and Benchrest. I can not speak for Benchrest rules, however, I can for F-Open. F-Open allows for right at 22 pounds of rifle and scope together. Stay about 20 pounds and you will never have a problem.

In IBS Benchrest matches the weights are 17lbs and under for Light Gun and there is no limit on heavy gun :)

I think most try to stay between 16.5 and 17 not exceeding 17lb for light gun.

Thanks for the info. I went on-line and looked up the bench rules. Not sure if I can get one rifle to do both easily.
