6mm BR on a TIKKA 595 action?

Hello guys,
Don't ball me out for being a 6PPC fan but I am planning a 6mm BR varmint gun.

My question is that of all the 6mmBR's I've seen on Reminton actions not one fed correctly from the mag, however I have seen some PPC's on SAKO and TIKKA actions that fed okay.

Has anyone built a 6mm BR on a TIKKA 595 action and does it feed?

Hope the picture of my 6PPC works you will like it!

Thanks in advance.

I think you should try a box of the 87-gr V-max. The .400 BC is pretty good, the bullets are inexpensive, and they often can be found on sale), and they are a very effective hunting bullet. Oh, and they're accurate.

The only negative is the bearing surface is pretty long, so if your throat is set for the 55gr varminters, you'd have to put it pretty far down in the case. But if you can shoot the 105 Amax you can certainly shoot the 87s.

I have built 5 on the Tikka 595 action in 6BR. On a couple they feed great without any work to the feed lips on the magazine. On a couple I had to modify the two little tabs on the front part of the magazine. This is on the 5 round steel magazines. I have never tried the three round plastic ones. I personally own 9 Tikka 595’s. The 595 is a very rigid action. I am always amazed at how well they shoot unbedded. That being said, I have most of mine bedded. I use a modified pillar system that uses the pillar as the recoil lug. You will be very happy with yours in 6BR.
