6mm BR Norma/Remington

Twud

The two are the same. Remington shot itself in the foot when it decided to bring out the URBR brass instead of a real BR case. When it finally did, it was too late for it to catch on as a point-blank cartridge and by the time the long range guys started to pick up on it the Lapua brass was on the market. So, in three words - Quality Brass. OK, two words.

Ray ....that is Qual-ahh-tee brass = four words....hahah......you are certainly rite...a combo of bad timing ..bad press...etc....the original BR brass was more like "aluminum",, brittle etc.The PPC worked so well no one in their rite mind..,,,except ME))),,,o00ew,,,I said Right mind....anyhow...I have shot one since the 70.....would use one...now it seem like lotsa people are sayin that since the case only hold two or three grains more powder ...culd it be that bad for popint blank use??!! And,,,the success at long range is old news today........I shure remember the days of stiky blot lift and split necks and case seperations....Norma reely helped and then when Lapua hit the shores in the late 80's there has been no lookin bak........I alos think we have had a major, quanitm leap) in sizing dies and chameber dims....long story short,,,the BR has finally been recoqnized for it worth and potential.......Roger
