6MM BR Case !!

Got my first look at a real live 6BR case today. I can't hardly believe you could get enough powder in that case to drive a bullet to 600 yds. Just got to be patient and wait for mine to show up.

Twud: My son shot a 600 yd. F-class match in Florida,, Port Malabar) last weekend. Under some wind condition, the match winner fired a score of 600x600, with a high X count, using a ??? 6BR! 32.5 of Varget fits nicely into my Lapua brass, and just touches the base of the seated bullet. ,also NRA Life)

That's a great score!! Which bullet did he use? And what was the oal to ogive? Thanks, Hank

Hanic: I don't have any details. My son e-mailed the score sheet results, and mentioned later, over the phone, that the high score was shot with a match rifle in 6BR, with a scope. 600 w/ 38 x's. On the scope 600 yd. tgt. the x-ring is 3" and the 10 ring is 6". Match was shot at the Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club, Dec. 28 Winning score was fired in the High Master class.
