6mm br 105 flat base ??

Hello all, Bill Here just starting up in shooting 300 meter using 6br, will be using 1-8 barrel 105 proj, have boat tails berger and Hornady amax but was wondering about 105 flat base, any ideas?
As I will only be shooting at max 300m

Sorry but will both the 95 and 108 bib work in the 1-8 barrell

I have shot Berger 80g Varmint bullets in 6BR 8" twist with excellent results. The 95 and 108 BIB should perform equally well. You might also consider the Berger. It has a fine accuracy reputation.

Scored 50X. can you get bullets from Australia? If so, I can put you onto someone here who makes great 100gn flat base bullets for 300M shooters. They are like a 107 sierra with the boat tail chopped off, just more consistant.

i would say forget about the FB 105 bullets and go with a 107 sierra. The sierra is a very excellent 300 meter bullet. This is my opinion but i will explain why i have this opinion. 300 yards or meters shooting isnt as easy as it sounds. I dont believe i have ever shot at 300 yards were wind wasnt a factor. The BT bullet like the 107 sierra will fly better in that wind, and even if there isnt any wind it will still shoot very very well. I like FB bullets, but i only use them out to 200 yards, and soon just for 100 yards. I think the BT is the way to go, and the sierra 107 is an excellent choice. Measure the bearing surfaces if you go with the 107 as sierra bullets will vary in length. Buy 100 if them and give them a try. If you dont like them, let me know and ill buy them from you! PS The 108 BIB BT bullet is also a great bullet. I just got my hands on some and they shoot very very well. !!
