6mm, barrel twist, bullet weight

I want to shoot a 6mm with a 9 1/8 twist. What bullets brand/weight would be my best best for shooting 500 yards. Will it stabilize the lighter 55-70gr bullets? What will cut the wind the best? I like the sounds of the fast 55 gr. but how will they do in the wind compared to the higher weighted bullets? I dont no where to start any help/advice would be appreciated.

With that twist you looking at 90 grn. bullets, which are great
out to 500 yds. 50-70 grn bullets is more for the 12 twist bbls.
at 100-300 yd ranges. IMHO

I would ckeck out the Hornady 87gr. v-max. They have a .400 B.C.
and the v-max bullets are explosive on ground hogs. Have fun.

I shoot a 6mm rem. 40x with a 1&12 I ordered to shoot 75's & under.I took it this spring to S.D.& hed a field day one day it was a very windy with the 75 vmax's.The 55NPT shoot well but the 75's show a lot more action on pd's.
