My 6MM ARC is on an AR15 platform, it's an Aero Precision with a 16" barrel, it is all Aero with a Ballistic Advantage barrel ordered as an assembled upper from Brownell's and was designed to be a CQB/truck rifle.
Comparing it to my AR15 A2, my sons Stag Arms SR1 and my 2 M1 Carbines I can say that I'm satisfied with the result.
In close the 6MM shoots very well and is as fast acting as the Stag and the M1 Carbines, accuracy is far greater than CQB standards.
As the range increases the 6MM ARC accuracy outperforms all but the A2 until we get to 200+ yards then it is the leader of the pack. As the wind increases 200+ yard the accuracy edge for the 6MM ARC over the 5.56 (eitherM193 or M855) increases. The A2 with 69 grain Hornady improves the A2 performance out to 400 yards and 1/2 sized silhouettes are easily hit at 500 yards in light wind.
Reloading with LeverEvolution and Hornady 103 ELDX has seen loads matching Hornady published Data for a 16" barreled AR.
