6mm 75 v-max

I would like to know if these like a little jump or do they prefer in the lands. Usually shoot sierra bullets with some jump. ED K

What work in one bbl may not work in another !

Start with them just touching the lands, if they don't shoot well, then start working back away. My 6mmai shoots the 75gr Vmax the best when just touching, but your rifle may not. That is a very accurate bullet.

Thanks for the replies. I have some loaded for testing just touching the lands but haven't had a chance to test them. Guess thats a good place to start. ED K

I run the 75 grn V-Max in my 6x47L just kissing the lands.These are a great projectile accurate and explosive 8)

I agree with the above: Kiss the lands, if you are not happy with your groups, back off .020 the .030. This will tell you what your gun likes!

Again, like above, all my guns like V-Max's just kissing the lands!

Shot this touching the lands and got a 4 inch or so group. Backed them off .015 and got about a 1 or little over. Just some vertical spread.Oh by the way i'm talking 300 yard target so i'm happy where its at ED

Glad ya got this thing working well. I've taken a pretty fair number of different critters with the 75gr Vmax, and am completely convinced that it has a LOT of attitude. One mean a$$ bullet there. Accurate, and always explosive on predators and varmints.WD
