6mm 30 AR velocity ?

I shot through the chrono this weekend 2965 fps with 36 grains of H4350 and Berger 95 VLD taeget 205M primers. I have a 24" Bartlien barrel . I thought about R15 but not sure where to start . The case capacity is 44 grains of H2O. Any ideas on powder and loads. Thanks! Mark

OK, so this is a 30AR case necked down to 6mm, right?

RL-15's not a common choice in similar cartridges, faster burning than both H4350 & IMR4350.

I shoot a 6XC (~ 48-49 gr. H20) & RL-17's more useful, slower burning than RL-15, particularly with bullets of 90+ grains.

What's your motivation to try another propellant? 2965's not too shabby for a 95 grain bullet from a 24" barrel. Were you seeing pressure signs with 36 grains H4350? Unacceptable accuracy?

I was just wanting to get some feedback from other reloaders . The accuracy is great with that load and should not be trying other loads . 107 smk's shoot great with the same powder charge but have not checked the velocity on that load. The case is a 30 AR necked down to 6mm with 37 degree shoulder . There are no pressure signs with 36 grains of powder and 205 M primers. I have some R17 and VV N560 that I might try also . Thanks ! This is what QL says for the 107SMK , the top few powders shown and 4350 is near the top
44gr H2O 2.3" OAL----Edited had an 18" barrel in the calc.
