6MM .236' OR .237'

I bought a Krieger blank in the Classifieds over on Benchrest Central. The smith said it was ordered wrong twist. I never asked about bore size, and it came in today and is a .236".

Is there a good reason to keep it?
I will be shooting heavy weight 105`s,108`s 103`s and such.

Any comments much appreciated.

My paranoia is stemmed from my smith always ordering .237`s for me.

It all depends...what twist is it...what bullet,,BRAND))are u planning to shoot, they vary as much as .0008")....there are folks that get em both to work...Roger

Roger it is a 8.5" twist. Seems just right for a Dasher project. Krieger told me they have many .236"`s ordered. I`d love to hear real comparisons from someone who has had and shot both.

I plan on using Berger/Spencer bullets.

Sometimes I wonder if we obsess about nothing - I have both .236's and .237's and worried about the difference, but frankly I don't think there's a difference on the paper in most cases.
