SOLD 6BRX Rem 700 old school. SPF

Picked this up from Bob at while back at shooters corner. It was used when I got it. I did some load testing with @Bill Norris and it shot some groups in the .1s and .2s however it wasn't consistent. Digging into gun, I found some issues. Gun went off to Zack at Old Dominion and he set barrel back, rechambered, new recoil lug, checked over action truing, headspaced new PTG bolt and threaded 5/8x24. Since then it's consistently putting 5 shot groups in the .2s. Stock has some chips and dings. Tuner is marked a bit but still usable and works as intended. Jewel br trigger with bottom safety. 24" barrel and with Burris XTR II 8-40 it weighs 12lb 13oz. Side sinclair bolt release.
I'm not opposed to hanging into this one, it'll be a regret I'm sure if it does sell.

Barrel maker and twist please? How many rounds since being set back?

Pulled notes from purchase, brux barrel 8.5 twist. About 100 since setback. Setback was due to a pitted area about .25" into rifling. Still shot good groups but we'd experience a flyer out of no where we couldn't figure out so while fixing the bolt issue that we contributed the flyer to i did setback to. Plus it was set back and chambered to match a couple other brx guns from Zack

This rifle shot exceptionally well even with issues that we found. but I'm certain it will shoot better now that Zack has had it in his shop. Great seller no doubt. Always shoots straight whether shooting or talking.
