6brx reamer help

Hey fellas,
I am building a couple of 6brx rifles I just bought two Kreiger 1:8 tw 29" long barrels I will be shooting 105s or 107s in it for 1000yard BR. I would like to turn the neck just a little to clean everything up, I hope and plan on using the newer blue box Lapua, What reamer do I want and who should I buy it from or have build it? any advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
Wayne.

My advice is to talk to Dave Kiff at PT&G.

I hvae 3 6mmBRX reamers.

For a no neck turn 6mmBRX I suggest .272 neck

I use a .266 or .267 bushing

For a tighter neck I use a .271 neck

I skim turn the necks about .0015"

I use a .265 or .266 bushing

For a .268 neck I use a .260-.262 bushing

These necks will require .005 turning.

Since I am a gunsmith I order all my reamers with only .20 throat and use a throating reamer to open the throats for the bullet and seating depth desired.

Most shooters using 105-108 bullets use a seating depth of .90 to .120"

I find 104 is a good compromise.

Again I suggest you talk with Dave Kiff.

You had better call quick because he will be at the Shot Show next week.

Nat,
Thanks for the advice! I called Dave today told him what I was wanting to do and he told me what reamer I needed ;) What a great guy to deal with, very pleasant and obviously very very knowledgeable My reamer and go gauge is ordered and @ a very acceptable price I thought.
Nat I don't know all the dimensions but it will be for a .269 neck and .104 freebore. Thanks for your suggestions and for sending me to Dave Kiff.
Wayne,
