need some loading data for 6brx 107 gr with 8208. also varget .thanks for your input .

My go-to load for my BRX is Berger 105gr Hybrids, 32.6gr of Varget and CCI450 primers. I get about 2960 out of my X-Caliber 29" 1/8 twist barrel.

Right now I'm also experimenting with Hornady 108gr ELD-M's...loading groups to take to the range in a couple of days using RL15, TAC and IMR4451.

Last trip to the range, with Varget and the Hornady bullets, the best results were at 32.0gr with a average velocity of 2940 and an SD of 5.7.

Varget 32.5 to 33.7, primer of choice, EPS 106 gr. bullets has been my recipe for about 12,000 rounds in 2 rifle and quite a few barrels. Works from 100 to 1000 yds just fine.

I would go from 32gr to mid 33gr
I got pressure at 33.7gr
32.4gr was my load of varget 3000fps in a 30 inch barrel

guys got to the range tried varget , blc2,8208and n150. played with some different bullets 107 ,105 hy berger and also 90 gr. berger bt target. so far 90gr. berger with n150 32.0 grs. low to upper .300 's at 200 yds. i shot five shots counted four shot groups one being wet barrel fouler. thanks for everyones help i will keep you guys informed .mike

33.5 of Varget and Viht N140 with CCI 450 gives 3,005 fps from a 30" Bartlein 5R. Not hard on brass, but I have the longer BRX chamber, not the short version, and bullets are Moly'd. I shoot Mid-range prone with a sling.

Put a 107 on the lands until the engraving marks are square. There's a nice node at 2920 and another really good one around 2990-3030.

I've been to the range twice since my earlier post, and the most satisfaction I've gotten has been with the Hornady 108gr ELD-M with 32.0gr of Varget. Shooting steel gongs at 600 yards, I had a very decent group, and in the first seven rounds I fired, the avg. fps was 2921, with an SD of 3.3.

I'll be taking that load to our club's monthly 600 yard match tomorrow.
