6brx hydraulic forming die

I am looking to borrow a hornady 6brx hydraulic forming die. Would be willing to pay 50.00 plus shipping. I would only need it for a week. pm if interested thanks guys.

I appreciate the thought. Thats funny I was actually debating the dasher. I have the reamer coming to. One of my buddies is gonna have me chamber one for him. But me and a group of guys are gonna shoot the brx this year for 600 and 1000 yard fclass instead of our 284's and rsaums.

I started making my own brass for a 6.5 brx.
I found a set of 7mm BR form dies that work great, but it is a lot of work.
Once you have the dies set for the right amount of head space, just lube and run them through. the last die is the ream die for the inside of neck. That is the hard part reaming by hand.
and then annealing and finally running them in a 6.5BRX
FL die.

6.5x47 lapua brass works as does 308.
Tried some 308 FC brass last week,5 shots in 1/2" at 200 yards.on the first firing
i am going to work up some 308 lapua palma brass i got on here cheap next.

I ruined 300 Pieces of 6mmBR Brass using a Hydraulic forming die. I went back to fire forming with real loads. Never looked back since.

Sorry you had problems with your hydro die. I recently got a 6 Dasher hydro die and have had no problems. I started out hitting too hard with lead hammer and split 3 shoulders on the first 25. I eased up some and split 1 out of the next 25. I eased up a little more and have not split any out of the next 100. It takes me about 45 min to do 50 and it looks like they are around 95% formed and first firings have been shooting real well. I do 3 not real hard blows with 5lb lead hammer.

How accurate are your guys ff loads at 600 yards? Capable of cleaning a fclass target with more than 50% x's? Just wondering, Rustystud, how were the cases ruined? Thanks guys.

Nat,
Can you please explaine how the brass got ruined using the Dydro Die?
Would really like to here the facts and maybe save some brass.
Thanks in advance. Any info appreciated.
