6BRX- Fire Forming w/ H4350

Guys, I have 8lbs of Shooters World “Long Rifle” which there claim is to be similar the H4350. i am questioning if I could use this to fire form my BRX brass. I hate to use my Varget due to short supply issues. Thanks

I haven’t done it personally, but it should work just fine with a 6BR load and appropriate bullet.
Give it a try with a few rounds and see or load up fire forming loads with Varget and 108 gr Berger’s and go win matches. I have done that at 600 yds.

i use 35.3gr of H4350 in my 6BRX with 108gr bergers , im sure it would work ok to FF but case would need to be full or nearly full

Not an expert on ff but I use 8208 normal load of 33.3 gr. 6brx. Does it really matter which powder they all will give you at least 50,000 psi. I would guess your at a much lower psi hydro forming.

Guys, I loaded 28g,30g & 32g of Shooters World Long Rifle. 28 didn’t “sq-up” the shoulders and neck as well as 30 & 32g did. It worked ok, no pressure issues + it saved my Varget. Thanks for the responses. Gary
