6BRX and my Bucket List

Tim,
Congratulations on some excellent shooting!! It feels good when you have everything working like you want doesn't it! I know you have worked hard and love this sport. I am glad it has paid off for you!! Hope to see you this year, I am going to try to get out to that excellent range ya'll have in Memphis this year sometime! Samuel Hall

Thank you all. I am truley grateful this was worthy of this honorable mention. Samuel, it feeling good is quite right!! I was told that you and Ray Staley may be planning to attend our first ever match this March 18th. I had invited Mike Davis and could not think of a better way to help us kick off our IBS affiliation to see you two guys on our line in Memphis. Piedmont is such a fine venue, and a gathering of world class shooters like no other place. We`d love to have any and or all you guys attend any time, sincerely, Tim

Re:My bucket list is a little more fulfilled now also,...Thanks Tim!!

Wayne, birdog, my samples of the Hybrids showed they didn`t need anything done to the meplats, they were good to go.

Wayne I hope that reamer is a goodern for you to. ;)

Tim,
That reamer being a goodern is a understatement, I have had three rifles chambered with it so far and my smith chamber one for himself and his son with it
I just got back from the Deep Creek range in Missoula Mt. where we had our April match, I was shooting my 17lb. 6brx that I used your reamer print on with Varget and 105H, on Sat I didn't do so well I shot a 8.440/94 in relay 2 and in relay 5 I shot a 9.701/92,...I was pretty bummed, I was sitting in the trailer trying to figure out what happened ( hadn't had ANY sleep in almost three days ) and realized my seating depth was left long and needed pushed back, I always do that and do a final seat at the match?? I was tired I guess and forgot ??? anyway I seated them back where they needed to be the next morning just before the match. My results weren't as impressive as yours but my bucket list was shortened, my goal this year was to beat my best which has been a 99 score and I wanted to get to the 6" mark, I was telling my Friend Tom Mousel this just the night before the matches, well Sunday morning I drew relay 3 bench 7,..raining slightly and slightly foggy but perfect sight picture and very little wind, I could see the X, during the sighters I could see the wooden dowel of the spotter and the little white pasters so NO EXCUSES I thought, when the record target appeared I felt good and let 10 fly as fast as I could,..(not very fast) I was hoping for under 8" and a 98 or 99 as I was centered up good on my sighters and conditions held, as I headed fro the pits to pull pit duty my friend and world record holder Tom M stopped me and told me the news, he was more excited I think then I was, My smith and shooting partner told me Tom was jumping up and down and cheering me on as my bullets were coming then world record holder Leo Anderson stopped me and told me the news and also was very excited,...what a bunch of great guy's all of them by the end of the day shook my hand and congratulated me . Anyway I shot a 6.269/100 followed up by a 5.985/98 on relay 7 :D I was very happy to say the least, thank you very much Tim for thinking of me by sending me your print, the ream is working great, my smith did a great job with it and I finally drove it correctly apparently.
Your friend,..........Wayne.

Way to go Wayne. That is some fine shooting!!!!
Give us some more details. Great read!

Wayne, what an awesome way of thanking me. This is such an honor, and your driving skills made it pay off, not my reamer design. I am very, very happy for you, and knowing that you trusted my design makes me an absolutely proud Papa. Hard work does pay off, remember that you concerned citizens. Hard work and dedication pay off!

Tim,
Thank you very much, I appreciate all your kind words, I hope I can keep it up or better it, if so I will give you a p.m
Wayne.

Randy,

Wayne.
