How is the accuracy of the 6BRBS with that short of a neck vs the Dasher or BRA? Does anyone have any real world first hand experience with the BRBS? If so I’d be curious to hear how well it works or doesn’t work.

I had a BRBS about 15 years ago. I was looking for a Dasher, but found a 17pound LG with a Stolle Polar action, which I love, it had nice custom dies, brass, reamer and load data. It has a shoulder blown out .120 thou and 40 degree. A Dasher is blown out .100. It offers no real world advantage over the Dasher. It is basically a Dasher balistically. Unless you have complete dies and reamer already, it is a waste of time IMHO. And resale is not as good as the other BR Improves. That rifle is one of the “Guns of the Week.” Way back when. Herman Harkey started the project. After I trashed the brass with multible firings, I rechambered the barrel, re-did the dies to BRX and I had a hard time giving away the reamer for free. As far as experience, I have shot BR, BR-AI (best IMHO), BRDX, BRX, Dasher, BRBS, 6X47 Lapua, that I can think of. I have won multible 600 yard matches and a few 1000 yard BR matches with each over the years. They all shoot (6x47L sometimes lol). I am now shooting what will get the job done with least pains!! That is the BR-AI known on the East coast or BRA in the Mid West. I am actually going to shoot some staight BR at 600 again just for the plain simplicity of it. Samuel Hall
