6BRAI nodes

I settled at 2960ish fps. With 30.6gr. H4895
I’m using BR4’s and .005” jam from where bullet touched to make marks on ogive.

That is very interesting. If I were to jam the bullet, which typically increases pressure, and use 30.6 grains of H4895 in my gun - I would probably never get my bolt open again! My neck grip is still pretty tight so perhaps after I turn the necks down to their final 0.0105 inch dimension things will settle down and I can nail down where my optimum accuracy node is. I think I could easily be in the 2950 to 2960 ft/sec range with my 26 inch barrel using 29.6 to 29.7 grains of H4895 or 31.6 grains of Varget or Reloader 15 with 105 grain bullets. Powders, primers, neck grip, bullets, seating depth, alignment of the planets - no wonder design of experiments doesn't show up more often in reloading discussions - to many intertwined variables. And then one must shot it!

same here but 205m and .010 off

Had a lot of problems (blanking) with Federal 215 primers at 29 grains of H4895 in my rifle - even after replacing the firing pin and spring. Haven't tried the BR-4's yet but think I need something tougher than the federals like CCI 450's, 400's or BR-4's.
