I see the 6Dasher & 6BRX mentioned a lot and was wondering what the difference is between these and the 6BRA ? Didn't find a schematic or drawing of it anywhere here.
The 6BRA is popular because the neck/shoulder junction is basically the same as the 6BR, so fireforming is very easy and effective because it follows Ackley's conventions.The BRA is simply an Ackley Improved BR.
Just straighten out the the body taper a tad, and give it 40* shoulders.
The Dasher is the same thing except way cooler.
It is about .080” longer, base to shoulder.
I THINK a BRX is simply a Dasher with 30* shoulders????
They are all accurate, none of course, as accurate as the Dasher.
