6BRA 108 ELD's Alpha brass (issues)

By yourself a vld reamer and give the cases a good reaming and you have to kiss the necks with that reamer every time you stainless clean. Cut your cleaning time to about 10 minutes.

And Or Try a bigger bushing.

And Or Use Lapua brass.

Hey thanks. I just ordered the RCBS one for my prep station.

Hundreds if not thousands have abandoned the stainless stuff because of issues just like this. I know they’re pretty, but it’s just not worth it. Carbon in the neck is your friend!

I use that same tool though, it’s nice especially for that price. I’ve had it for years.

I do have a .266 bushing on the way along with a VLD style seater for my Le-Wilson die.

I do not clean out the carbon on my 6br brass. I only tumble them for 10 to 15 minutes. Cleans the outside. Leaves the carbon, cleans out the soot.

I got it sorted out. Took the advice and stopped wet tumbling, also got a vld chamfer tool and vld seating stem. Also got a .265 bushing and use my expander mandrel after dipping the necks in graphite dry lube.
