6br, trimed a little short ??

I finally got a forster trimmer yesterday and trimed my first 50 cases. At 1.63 they are "rubbing". I got my trimmer set a little short on the first few, so I trimmed them all at 1.50-1.51. Is this any big deal? I went and shot and was O.K. with that. Just wondering if it was a thing I should avoid,as being criticle).. Thanks tootalloutdoors

Can't see it being anything like the problem of them be overlong!

I would say this is the least critical element; with bullet tension as dictated by neck wall thickness - read turning for a match-tight chamber - being at the other end of a chain of importance.

But I'm far from being an expert in this field.

Cheers

Short is not a problem as long as the neck can hold the bullet. The cases usually grow as you use and reload them; how much and how fast is dictated by the case profile, strength of charges, chamber dimensions and reloading technique.
