28" McGowan barreled Savage PTA, 6mmBR Norma
Lapua brass, CCI 450, Berger 105 Hunting VLD, seated .010" ITL, .002" neck tension
Using Reloader 15
Load tested 29.6 grains to 30.8 grains. There is a clear, definitive node at 30.0 to 30.4 grains, all 12 shots from the .4 grain spread shot into less than an inch of vertical at 300 yards. I was ecstatic. I went back and loaded up 6 shots of the 30.2grain load to shoot over the Magnetospeed and they shot 2768fps to 2775fps. This was quite a bit slower than I expected or hoped.
I'm new to 6BR. To all y'all with the 6BR experience, should I go higher in my load testing to find the next node?
FYI: I'm getting into LR BR competition, for those that will ask what my goals are.
