6BR Recoil and sight picture

Gonna try and build my first 6br before next spring for varminting. Really love to shoot my 204 as I am able to spot my own shots, if I run a good muzzy brake, does the 6BR recoil allow me to retain my scope picture and spot my own shots?

Yep!! I have a VAIS brake on my DASHER and am able to see the V-Max do it's damage. You're gonna love it!!

I prefer to run a little more gun weight and skip the brake.

My Dashers weigh around 15 pounds and shooting 70 grainers have no problem spotting my own shots.

I use a 12tw 6BR with a Harrel brake and can see my hit or misses at to 700 yds.

I use a brake on all my varmint stuff and highly recommend them. My 6 BR is on a Savage with a PacNor full bull barrel finished at 28' plus the brake and is pretty heavy. Hardly moves when shooting the lite bullets and can still spot hits with a 105 Amax.
