6BR prone/fclass rifle

finished my latest project this week. got to go out and shoot it yesterday. Its built on an XP-100 action with a kreiger barrel 30" long in a 1-8 twist shooting the standard 6br load 107 SMK 30 gr varget.best group was .297"@100yrds. the stock is my own design for f-class and prone/sling it's made from 4 pieces of walnut 2 are 1/4" thick and the out side pieces were 1" thick. i used a stockade gunstocks varmint stock as the basic pattern and added to the pattern with fiberglass body filler to get where I needed to be. the fore end tip is macasar ebony. next one i make will have kevlar cloth between 3 pcs of wood to add stiffness. it seems a little bouncy on the bags although the groups didn't show much in the way of verticle. will go shoot @ 300 yrds sunday and let you all know how it shoots. on the center target I shot it free recoil. on the other two I shot it holding the wrist of the stock and against my shoulder.
hope you all have a prosperous new year. Treeman
