6BR on 700 action

so I'm building a hunting rifle on a 700 short action and am wondering what options i have for making it a reliable repeater, as i hear the feeding of the cartridge is somewhat non-reliable?

sorry if the topic as been beat to death but am new to the forum and the 6BR as well.... ;)

It is very doable. I have been able to make both my 22BR rifles feed using modified AI 308 magazines and AI 223 magazines. I am working on refining my modifications at this time. I use CDI bottom metal. I am just about to barrel up a 6BR or maybe a 6BRX here pretty soon. Check with me in about 2 weeks.

The Eliseo (Competition Shooting Stuff) tube guns feed reliably. They're aluminum and originally designed for target shooting, but he's got a lightweight version (and some "tactical" ones) that might fit the bill for a hunting rifle. I also know of a guy who rigged up his own magazines to feed them in a 700 that worked quite well. Ugly as sin, but they worked.

+1 for the Eliseo tube stock. My buddy has one chambered in 6br and we haven't had any problems with it feeding. Brian Brown.
