6br magazine help

I have a new to me Model 7 6br. It has the 4+1 floor plate which is great for hunting. But I would like to look at getting a diff bottom metal + mags that I could swap out for varmints and plinking at steel. Can anyone tell me atleast if this a doable option with the mod7 action before I start the search process? Thx!

Disregard, I did my own looking around and there in only one made by ptg that needs fitting. Not worth the hassle anyhow because I dont like smoking my bbl. I was just looking at it for a convenience standpoint.

PTG bottom metal works..
I know Long Barrel Inc used to do cnc inlets..those guys are amazing..
You would need to give them a call..as you do the pillar bedding first and they mill it all down the proper distance..im telling you..beg them ..hahaha...you won't regret it...
Also I would consider have 2 Barrel made for your rifle and then when you shoot one out and can change them your self...or get the rem nut..or when ever its called...and some different chambers in the same case family...
But here we go again how much is it worth to go from 4 shot to a DBM system..you can see the price will soon outweigh the quality of the factory Remington model 7 action
I'm in the same boat, and have given it plenty of thought and in my opinion the most practical, thing to do with a factory rem action it get a pre fit barrel and any of the chassis systems on the market ..the one from XLR industries..and Bam..free floated barrel, repeatable action bedding, reliable mag system...
What about that idea
