6br lapua case question

I have a 6br with a .272 neck & got #50 lapua cases with it. I've neck sized these only about 4x. I bought a box of new lapua & measured the base right above the rim & found that the unfired ones were about 12 thou smaller than the ones I have been using. They do not chamber tight at all. Is this normal, or is this a sign of high pressure? I never used more than 30 gr of varget with 107 smk's. Mostly used 29.5 gr varget. Your thoughts are much appreciated.

Greg, I don't think you have a problem. What you are seeing is the brass forming to your chamber. Check a few of your new pieces after you fire them a couple of times and I think you will see about the same thing happening with those also. Bill

Check ur measurements!!!!?????!!!! My new stuff is aprox. .468" at the web...most of my ctgs. that have been fired 3 to 10 times are around~.469-.4695" ...and a few with aprox 20 cycles and that have been "abused" are .470"...
I hope you ment .0012 in stead of .012"....if they are that big then your chamber is wallowed,wallered..haha) out by the reamer "big time".....please let us know....I cant imagine them being that big and the primer poket not being so loose that the primers fall out ...or maby 209's fit em now ..ahahaha....Roger

Dennis,
My new brass measures 0.4696 at the web.
Rodger, You are right. It's .0020 larger. He must have shot the gun more than he said, or he had used brass which was abused that he sent me. I have a redding body die, think I should re-size them or just retire them?
Thanks for the replys, Greg
