6BR Lapua Brass

Does anyone know where I can get some lapua brass in 6BR? Everywhere I've checked is out until maybe the end of Feb. I would like to pickup about 200 more pieces

The importer is out along with about every major supplier I know. :,The importer estimates they will receive it by the end of February.

We will see if things change any after May 1. There will be at least two new importers of Lapua. That will tell us something about whether the problem is Nammo or the current US importer. The Viht is still being worked out but based on what I am hearing I would be surprised to see Kaltron as the importer in 2007.

gunamonth et all- you are correct.

Here in Aust the local distributer/importer won't even bring products in for you if you agree to purchase them in advance and wait the estimated 6-8 months for them to arrive.
And it wasn't a hundred cases I was wanting to buy either.

I was willing to purchses in multiple case lots for the 3 types of 6BR factory ammo and individual case lots for varios weight projectiles in 6mm, 3x 6.5mm and 30 CAL as well as a case of 6.5x55 brass.

this is all with a price PENALTY OVER STANDARD RETAIL we pay here in Aust almost 2 times more for our componants then you do on your side of the pond.

several thousand dollars and they wouldn't come to the party.


very pissed off- looking at privately importing the stuff myself.
I can get the import permits and have it freighted out myself from a European distributer for almost he same $$ as wht the AU guys want to charge me and the european dist has all bar 1 item in stock,123grn 6.5 proj) he says he can have it here in 3 months.
Problem Iv'e got is that the postal service won't carry any gun parts or accessories anymore form O/S.
As far as customs is concerned it's a legitimate import but the postal service won't carry it for me.
So it has to be delivered to a port 2200 miles from me and I have to go and get it myself if I want the stuff
And I cannot carry it on a plane because it's over the weight limit for freight.

problems, problems problems just because the distributer has the line but doesn't see it as core business and doesn't really support it.
