Thank youI have tried the 70matchkings in past on Groundhogs. It sucked. Up close they may or may not open. Farther out they just wouldn’t open at all. I was shooting at one with a buddy spotting once. Just over 500 yards. I shot at this pig, he said I swear you hit but it ran a few feet. Assuming I missed shot again, then again. I hit it three times not a single bullet opened up. Switched to 58 vmax or 65 vmax. No doubt on those. Never had a failure to open, and much quicker kills. Also the Sierra varmint bullets worked well.
Same here. Work very well with stout load of RL-15Yep I use 75 vmax on prairie dogs--impressive
Are you touching the lands and grove with the 70 gr blitz king ? What’s the load on that thanksI'm shooting a 8 twist 6br with sierra 70gr blitzkings and they hammer ground hogs from 15 to 400yds, that's as far as I shot them, haven't had one to step out of there tracks yet! And best of all they shoot as good as the match bullets.
Try some VV N135 mine really come to life with it.
Thank youI have them 5ths in lands, for safety reasons I won't post my charge weight but it was on the top end.

ThanksDon't forget the Speer 70 grain TNT. It is an ugly little bullet but hits with violent expansion. I run them in both 8 twist and 10 twist 6 BR's.
