6br from 7br brass

So I am trying to neck down 7br Remington brass to 6br. When I do so by running it through a 6br full length sizing die all I get is cases that are crushing at the shoulder. I think I have plenty of lube on them. So I dunno what the problem is. Any ideas?

Oh. Can't do that. Guess I need to get 6br brass then. So much for saving money. lol
Sure you can what kind of die do you have? How much Rem brass do you have? and lastly what kind of shooting are you planning on doing?
Wayne.

I only have 100 cases well less now that I squashed some. lol I a forster die set. I think that is spelled right. I just plan to use the rifle as a varmint rig and so shoot steel and such out to 600-700 yards. I figgured since I can size .308 down to .243 in one step that I could go 7mm to 6mm in one step. Guess it would have been cheaper to just get the 6br to start with. Oh well.

A bushing die will work and just get 2 or 3 and step down like that, recently by mistake I took a 30BR down to 6br in on pass, forgot I had the 6mm with bushing in press trying to work 2 calibers at the same time.
