I am building a 6mm Norma BR and want to use 105-115 bullets. Is there a recommended lead length for these long bullets? I am using a Shilen 4 groove ratchet barrel with 7.5 twist.

1in 8. Perhaps I could have found nodes that worked with 108’s, 109’s, etc, with enough work, but I figured, why bother. I have good loads with 103’s, and 105’s. That’s My experience. I have all of those bullets in My possession, I will use the heavies for fire forming.

Tubb uses 7 twist across the board for the DTAC.

If I were getting a reamer for 115 to 105 ONLY I would get a 150 FB made.

My 6br has a .060 free bore. It shoot everything from 65 gr to 105 gr bullets well.
