Have a couple more questions:
1. Do the twist rate suggestions on the 6BR Info page for rifles of 22" or so also apply to 15" pistol--or are they different due to the significantly shorter length?
2. Case sizing--according the the TC guru Mike Bellm, one should FL size only and not neck size due to "frame stretching" in the somewhat weaker break action guns--compared to bolt guns. The cases lengthen in the body as a result of the stretched frame and one gets problems such as misfires, inability to lock up properly, excessive load on frame when closing, etc.--assuming I interpreted his article correctly. Suppose it makes sense with the probability of the older contender frames being fired with hot - rodded loads. I am wondering if that is really an issue with a new, stronger,un-abused Encore shooting moderate 6 BR loads--am not really a BR shooter looking for max velocity/accuracy--just someone who wants a 6 cal. with less recoil and the ability to get heavier loading densities and better accuracy than say with a .243. Do plan on checking this in practice, but curious as to others' experience/comments regarding sizing for TC's
thanks
Tony
