6br die help

I am wanting to order a Harrell's bushing FL size die for a factory chamber. With out already owning a die is there any tricks out there to figure out how to get them 3 fired cases?

If u need to send them 3 fired cases why would u need a die? Just shoot them and send them.

Very simple answer
Load virgin brass with 28 gr of Varget, stuff a 100% cotton ball in the neck , fire and repeat 3 times

They need to be fired 3 times and only neck sized between firings to ensure the case is fully formed. This can be done by tapping a correct size bushing on the neck just enough to hold the bullet as Mark W stated.

Two of the small 22 round patches will plug a 6br case pretty tight. After firing, 3 patches
I used a punch to push it in there. Took some force.

I’ve used a bullet by lightly tapping a bushing onto the neck and sizing just enough to hold the bullet in place. I trusted that this expanded the case more realistically than the cotton ball trick. You’re mileage may vary.
Great idea. Thanks.

Ive been getting hard bolt lift with even mild loads. I sent Harrell's my brass and they sent me a B1. It sizes .0005 smaller than my Redding at the .200 line and I am now shooting 30 grains varget no problem. Who would of though .0005 would matter. What's a B1. Tighter or looser? Mike

For my 6BRs - after sending in my brass - I received a B1. My other 6Br I received a B2. The B2 sizes the brass more than the B1....

Just let Harrell's Precision decide what you need. Send him the brass after it is fired 3 times without sizing the body. I think they offer 8 different dies in .0005 increments.
