6BR Dented Case

Hi Guys,

I'm having some trouble here, i'm reloading my 6BR BenchRest Savage some Lapua Brass with Berger Bullets but i'm getting some problems with the Brass.
Some of the brass is leaving the chamber with some dented marks on the neck, like the picture shows.

The brass is new

What do you think??

Indeed was a dirty chamber, look at that, i got squished powder in there.
So, next question, why in the heck i got all that powder in there not burnt???

Are you positive that the dents were not there prior to firing the round?
Lapua has had some issues with dents in the shoulder area on 6BR brass.
If you have some brass that has not been fire formed inspect the shoulders, you may find your answer.
It really does look like a trash mark.

what lube are you using?

the reason i ask is something similar happened to but.i caught it when it.came.out of the sizing die.

i use imperial sizing wax and imperial dry neck lube. i didn't notice but one of the ceramic balls in the neck lube stuck to the shoulder of the case and was crushed in the sizing die leaving a dent like that. i trashed the case and have been much more careful since.
