6br & dasher

I have a 6BR and am acquiring parts for a Dasher build as well. So I guess I don't think its wrong. The Dasher is a great cartridge. Use your BR out to 600 yards and the Dasher beyond that. Hey you can never have to many rifles!

I would think it depends on what you want to do with them.

For long-range competition it's hard to really "know" two rifles. Doubt both are necessary but one might be a sporter. Use it for varmints, deer and just plain fun. Now you might want a third with short barrel for benchrest use and then a fourth for long-range varmint with slower twist for lighter bullets.

I would think that one of each with different twists and weights, different scope combinations for styles of shooting means you really NEED about 4 of each.

yes i was thinking i need one more rifle but don't tell the wife. after the dasher i was thinking 260 ackley or 6.5 SLR

Only thing that can go wrong is you accidently fireform some dasher brass. :-) For my part, I chose a 6 BRX as my first cartridge and found no reason to add a 6BR.
