6br bullets

i have been using berger hybrids 105s and they shoot real good at 600yrds but i feel like i might be leaving something on the table o its a 6br 1/8 i plan on trying it at 1000yrds will see how it does what bullets are you guys using i know some use custom bullets any help will be appreciated

The Berger hybrid is a very good bullet for the 6BR case, as is the VLD in the same weight. Custom bullets are just that custom, in some rifles they do shoot better sometimes not. You will just need to order some and give them a try. Also don't shy away from the Berger 108VLD it also is a shooter.

The 6BR shoots very well at 600 yds it sometimes seems as if it was made for that distance. At a 1,000 yds it can be iffy becuase of the wind. Shoot at a 1,000 and see how it does and let us all know......

Steve Krauss.just set a new gun club record at 1000yds at manatee gun club using 105hybrid bostrom built savage 6mm dasher varget powder mc gowen barrel and a ras turner brake 12 year old record the first 3 guns all were built by Bostrom and all 3 were using his tuner break

Berger 108 is best in my Bat/krieger. 105 hybrid has been pretty good but has not been as consistent as the 108. Sierra 107 also seems more consistent than the 105 H and has produced a several of my smallest groups... But still not as consistent overall as the 108.

I would like to try some custom bullets as well. Bart's are amazing in my ppc.
The bib 95s have not grouped well in my BR but fowler 80s with 8208 powder have.

Anyone shooting bib 108s.?

Berger does not make a 108 VLD, unless something has changed in the last few weeks.

Don't know why you quoted my post as I didn't say that Berger made a 108 Hybrid. My first sentence stated "The Berger hybrid is a very good bullet for the 6BR case, as is the VLD in the same weight." I assumed ( Nevers works) that anyone reading that and shooting a 6BR would know that the author of that sentence was speaking about the Berger 105 Hybrid and VLD. But once again that assume thing happens, next time I just gotta remember the "Thread Police"

Read your post..."also, don't shy away from the Berger 108 VLD it is also a shooter"

I never said you said they made a 108 Hybrid. They don't.

Again...Berger does not make a 108 VLD.... They make a 108 match BT target. Product # 24431.
