6BR, Barnes 112 w/varget

In what way did the 112 MB hold up better than 110 A Tips.? What was your longest yardge test. What is the complete load story. I have a new build in progress. 28 in Bartlein 1 / 7.25 twist bolt action. Using Leverevolution . Steel plinking ELR.
Have good luck with 110 A Tips in my gas gun.

Thank you!
PM'ed ya
But for the others
Hornady anything - desintigrates from my 8 Tw - 30" Krieger
When driven over 3200
They may be fine under 3000 fps, havent tried
3/10 110 A-tips never reached target when shooting at 1000 yds
-----
Berger 115 Hunting Bullets also having a thinner jacket like the Hornadys do
do not hold up for me over 3200 FPS
Berger knows this, I have talked with them, to find out the Target Bullets have thicker Jackets
SO maybe Hornady either compromises their jacket thickness to provide a cheaper bullet
or so they can have decent terminal performance on game??? Dunno
---
Other bullets that survive 10/10 times and will make it to group well at 1000 yds
Lapua - Yes
Barnes 112 MB - Yes
Sierra anything - Yes
Dtac - Yes
Berger 115 TARGET - Yes

We shoot lots of Hornady bullets way faster than that in our 8 twist barrels. Never seen one pop.

Maybe it has something to do with my barrels being 4 groove? Dunno
.236 vs .237 Bore maybe? Also don't know as I haven't tested between the 2
What I do know is I've tested them in my particular barrels and had these issues seem to always come up with Hornadys and their thinner jackets.
Easy answer for me, the target tells the story
Haven't tried a 5 Groove yet which supposedly helps retain Jacket
Heres what Hornady look like about to pop (1st Pic, lead trail leading around edge, bad group spread)
Had the Same problems with the Hornady's even with a 9 twist barrel

Some Bergers that have thin jackets also, had a problem with

Lapua Scenars and Sierra's(3rd Pic) - never a problem
