6br and Reloder 10X

I have a quantity of Reloder 10X I got for my 204 Ruger. Right on the front of the container in big letters it says "Excellent for benchrest cartridges" but I can't find any load data for it and the 6br, even from Alliant, the manufacturer. Has anyone used this powder in the 6br, and what would be a good starting point for 107gr Sierra match kings in an 8 twist barrel.

No problem.

Wanted to head off the confusion in the provided link. 6 PPC, Short, 40 degree PPC, some 6 BR...all too confusing by half.

This is the THE POWDER for the 80 grain Berger in the 6BR.

28.5 grains of 10x in my rifle with the 80 grain Bergers literlaly has shot some zeros for me and I shot my first 600 yard match with the same load and it held 1 inch of vertical at 600.

The OP wants to use it with 107 gr. and too fast for that weight bullet.

having a quantity of Reloder 10X " as he does" maybe he'll get some lighter bullets to use now..!

i've heard people using rl 7 as well...

Thanks. If I can ever find some 80 grain bullets I'll give it a shot. I do have one box of 90 grain Bergers. Maybe I'll play around with those and the 10X.

It is, as already stated, too fast for the 107 but would work with bullets 80 grain and lighter. I use 10X to fireform 6Dasher brass with 55-70 grain bullets of whoever brand I happen to have on hand.
