6BR 95gr VLD Load

Anyone know the max load for a 95 gr. VLD in a 6 BR with varget or H4895. I don't plan to just jump right to the max, I just need a idea so I can determine a area to test in.

I'd probably start a little under 30 and work up to max. My gun shoots 105's well at 30.3 gr varget.

Not knowing your bore diameter, twist rate, primer, or barrel length leaves a lot of variables, but in my experience with 4985 & 95gr bullets (moly coated or not?), I'd be starting around 28gr at the most rather than just under 30gr. Not saying you won't end up around 30gr or a little more ..... but better to error on the safe side and start out at 28gr and work up from there. Just my humble opinion. WD

I was thinking the load will end up vary similar to my 105 load. that's why I figured I'd start a around 29.5 for varget. Not really sure where to start with 4895. Or how far to go with either, I can't load at the range and the range is a pretty good drive, I like to take enough with me to get the job done.

if it helps, I'm running a 26" 6 groove 8 twist shillen barrel, with HBN coated bullets. Don't know the bore dia. Lapua brass, and I have CCI BR4's and Federal 205M's to try.
