Brady here is my current 6mmbr blitzen at .040 thousands longer at shoulder junction.PS 30.9 grains of H4895 give what's on the Labrador below.Wondering if anyone has tried a 6br that instead of being blown 100 thou to a brx, they have only gone 50 thou instead? Makes the neck a bit longer than the brx and should hit the 2970 mark quite easily. Dimensionally it looks quite good, and can still use standard 6br dies.
That looks good Stan. The speed is right at accuracy. MattBrady here is my current 6mmbr blitzen at .040 thousands longer at shoulder junction.PS 30.9 grains of H4895 give what's on the Labrador below.
Not at the present I sent 2 fired cases to get a reamer made I used a standard 6mmbr set the headspace an ran a 6mmbrx reamer in .040 to make the improved case but being it is giving me what I like I will make a reamer one of my friends in Tennessee named T Claunch has a reamer real close to what I am playing with.Do you have a reamer print Stan?
You listen to Mr Guffey too much. MattI didnt think you could move a shoulder on any case?![]()
Brady I am going to try an give you a little better reason why I chose direction I fireform about 5 case's this evening an then I ran 4 loads of 3 shot groups on the same target at 125yds that is the way my target frames ended up being different bullets in all 4 loads same velocities there about 105 Barts,103 vapor trail,105 Berger vld,108 Berger boat tail target at 2950ish pay close attention to point of impact from the 5 fireform loads at 2750ish regular loads at 2950 is 30.9 gr of H4895. PS probably will be some not very impressed but I think I know what I am looking for easy to tune.that is 12 rounds in the one 3 shot groups different bullets.Wondering if anyone has tried a 6br that instead of being blown 100 thou to a brx, they have only gone 50 thou instead?
