6br 1-8 tw 105 -107 gr on groundhogs anybody try this

I'm having a R.E.M. 700 built for 6 br 1-8 tw .ill be shooting the 105 to 107 bullets on groundhogs.has anybody had good luck with ? And is anybody hitting them past 500 yards ? Would love to know thanks

I don't know if you can compare a rabbit and Fox with a groundhog. It doesn't take much to kill rabbits or foxes. But I have seen groundhogs practically blown in two and they run away.

no idea ..thought they would be about the same size and stuff ..haha small fluffy animal same same haha, and 105gr will do some damage they but down kangaroos great

Use plastic tipped pills for best results.

I have used the VLD Berger Hunter and AMax, both in 105gr with great results out to 800

The 105 AMax kills chucks out past 1000 yards with the 6XC and 6SLR.
The 6BR has slightly less powder capacity but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't also get past 1000.
