anyone shoot 69 smk with rel 15 out an AR

No, but i shoot 69 MK's out of my Lilja barreled AR with Benchmark and AA 2520 with results that are very close. RL-15 is very close in burn rate to AA2520 so it should work.

Yup I have, 25.50 grs. of R-15 is right close to 2,800 fps, will clean the 300 yd. MR-63 Target.

25.80 grs. of Varget would do the same..........

I know this is an old post but figured I would share in case someone else is looking for the info. I just finished some load development with 69 smk using RL-15 out of a 20" WOA barrel with 1-7 twist on a self built AR. I got my best group using 24.6 gr RL-15 24.8 grouped good as well but I had a flier so didn't use it. Group measured a .53 outside to outside. Shot are fired from prone.

The 69 grain SMK is an excellent and very accurate bullet. I have used it to kill deer with my .223 and prairie dogs at over 650 yards from my .22BR. It makes for an excellent killer with impressive wound capacity. I just got a 1:10" twist .22-250 AI and the 69 SMK will be my first choice!

69 SMKs are the most accurate bullet that I've loaded for my 8 twist AR. I've not tried shooting any animals with it though.
