600yd/ long range comp stock?

looking for insight and opinions on a new short action rem stock for my newest build. working with a 6brx 8tw hv kreiger 29in long for local ground hog matches and some 600yd br when skills permit. i am a little partial to the shehane stocks but am open to new ideas. i do have the 1000yd br/varmint model on a long action 6.5 284 on another gun and like it well. i just wanted to give myself the chance to look at others before i buy. if it matters i wont be shooting off a bi pod as this rifle is for paper and maybe a pd dog or two. looking for great tracking and flat bottom 3 inch in front and little drop so i can see long range misses on the pd dogs. also looking for forgiveness as to not being overly critical in the way that it handles either. also i have read that the rifle should balance near the front of the action? would it be helpful to add lead shot to balance and make the rifle track any better? also i am not picky on wood or fiberglass. any thoughts welcome!

For off the bench shooting the Shehane ST1000 in fiberglass is hard to beat.
The Shehane MBR and the Master 1000 as sold by John Hoover at Accuracy One for general purpose benchrest and hunting are probaly the most popular stocks in use today for bench/hunting at longrange.
Send me an e-mail and I'll send you pictures of all 3 types. My pictures won't post here.

Check out Robertson Composites Inc.

http://www.robertsoncomposites.com/

They have been making stocks for just about every style of shooting for a few decades now, and you won't be disappointed.
At the Eastern Canada F Class Championships close to half the guns on the line were bedded in RCI stocks.

They can use different weight fills to make the gun as heavy or as light as you need, or use a combination of heavy and light to balance the gun to your liking. They have some good sales people on staff who will work with you to figure out your options.

I would put my RCI Tactical stock up against any of the big name manufacturers without hesitation.

Dont forget the Kelbly 1000yd (1M)....its one of the best ....go to Kelblys web site
